Lodge Information:

The Tara Lodge of Installed Masters No. 419 I.C., established in Bombay in 1915 , represents a unique convergence of Irish, English, and Scottish Masonic traditions. The Lodge, named with ingenuity to reflect both Irish and Indian cultural ties has been an Installed Masters' Lodge, serving as a window to the Irish Constitution for Installed Masters of other Constitutions in India. Prominent founder members, including Hon. Justice F. C. O. Beaman and R. W. Bro. Col. William E. Jennings, established the Lodge with a focus on Masonic studies and a distinctive Irish Installation experience. Over the years, the Lodge has maintained its commitment to Masonic principles, charitable endeavors, and cultural heritage, exemplified by its opening ode "A Harp that Once." Tara Lodge continues to stand as a beacon of Masonic tradition, fostering brotherhood and excellence while bridging cultural and historical divides. Over the years, it's membership has been a Who's Who of the Masonic Fraternity of India; and has traditionally been a platform for Irish Masonic Study and Research.
